Movie Night
Last Friday night, we had a fun night of “Movie, Popcorn, and Drinks.” Because Residents couldn’t gather in front of the big screen to watch together, they tuned in at the appointed time on their TVs in their rooms to watch a great old movie. The Activities department decided to sweeten the deal with drinks, popcorn, and snacks. They pushed a cart overflowing with delicious possibilities to each Residents’ room. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and especially the snacks. Many thanks to those of you who have donated soft drinks, snacks, and especially the popcorn (Skinny Pop is a crowd favorite! The soft texture is easier to chew.) It’s the little enjoyments like these that make life during a pandemic seem fun and connected, instead of glum and restricted.
