We couldn’t do what we do without the many volunteers who help out here at the Jeanne Jugan Center. From helping with Resident activities, to serving lunch, making beds, or pulling weeds in the flower gardens, they are involved in almost every area of our home and we consider them a part of our family.
As a small gesture of our appreciation for all they do, we treated our volunteers to a special Mass followed by dinner on April 18, which is during National Volunteer Week. The kitchen cooked a lovely meal, and even the Residents got involved by handing out flowers to everyone as they left.
If you are a current volunteer, please know how grateful we are for you! And if you’ve been thinking of volunteering and haven’t quite made the leap yet, we would love to have you! We can always use help in a variety of areas, but we especially have a need for drivers right now to take Residents and Little Sisters to appointments.
