Halloween 2022
This year’s Halloween was too much fun to fit into one day, so we celebrated a whole week! We started with a contest for each floor to decorate for the holiday. Nurse’s stations were covered in jack-o-lanterns and witch’s hats, and fun décor was everywhere to be seen. Everyone did such a good job that we couldn’t pick a winner. So everyone won!
Next, the Residents got together and stuffed Halloween treat bags to hand out to trick-or-treaters at a parade on Sunday. The parade was great fun and well-attended. Family members and staff came and brought their little ones to show off their costumes and get some treats from the Residents.
The week ended with Halloween, with staff members dressing up for the day, and ice cream for all.
The family spirit was definitely alive and well at the Jeanne Jugan Center this week!
