Au Revoir, Sr. Jacintha
If there’s one thing that’s constant, it is change. And the Little Sisters are very familiar with change. As part of a larger order, each sister is happy to go wherever she is needed. As needs change around the province, sisters are moved around, and most work at multiple homes throughout their lives.
We recently said goodbye to Sister Jacintha with a little gathering and some sweet treats. An apartment Resident even had a cake made with her picture on it! Sister has been here at our Kansas City Home for 5 years, and oversaw the skilled nursing floor. She will be moving on to our Home in Palatine, IL. We really enjoyed Sister Jacintha and wish her well at her new assignment.
Not to worry, though, the skilled nursing unit will not be left without. Sister Rose Veronica will be joining us soon. She is coming to us from our home in Gallup, NM, and will be the new supervisor for the third floor. We are eager to welcome her to Kansas City and introduce her to our beautiful Home and Residents.
