The Meteorologists Predicted 80% Chance of Rain – Prayers Brought Out the Sun

Our annual “Of Saints and Miracles” Summer Festival was once again a huge success. Although the prediction was for rain, the day was sunny with a light summer breeze – perfect weather for an outdoors festival.

Families came out to partake of grilled hotdogs and brats, kids played in the sun, and all enjoyed various stage entertainments. The festival also featured jams, baked goods, and kettle corn along with a garage sale, craft sale, and Red Hatter’s booth.

The lucky winners of the cash raffles are:

Colleen Murphy: $1,000
Dorothy Grindinger: $500
N. Nelson & Marcia Newcomer: $100
Ralph & Audry Puhr: $100
Francis L. Schwartze: $100
Candace Vezender: $100
Sarah Garcia: $100

The winner of the scratch tickets drawing is Doris Siedler

Congratulations to our winners and big thank you to all who participated.
