Opening of our Faith Museum

  • October 22, 2012

Our second celebration was the opening of our Faith Museum as part of Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration of the “Year of Faith.” To provide resources for our Residents, families, and friends during this dedicated Year of Faith, our very own Sr. Beatrice created the Faith Museum for all to enjoy. Bishop Robert Finn was on hand on October 11, 2012 to assist Mother Rose Marie cut the ribbon to the museum and to celebrate mass with our Residents in the chapel. Also on hand for the celebration was the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) Founder, Fr. James Flanagan, and SOLT Sisters along with Sisters from the Sister of Jesus in the Lord community. The museum holds statues, artifacts, a hand-woven tapestry, books, faith cards, an education center, and other extraordinary resources to help deepen one’s renewal of faith and baptism. The museum will be open throughout the “Year of Faith” and is open to the public.
