Archer’s Christmas Angels
We had a nice treat last week when a group of employees from Archer Technology came to the Jeanne Jugan Center to help the Little Sisters wrap Christmas gifts for our Residents. These volunteers have been coming here since 2018, and we fondly call them Archer’s Christmas Angels. They certainly were a blessing, wrapping close to 100 gifts!
The ribbons and bows weren’t just for the gifts, though. The Angels had fun with our Residents by decorating their wheelchairs, walkers, and canes for Christmas too. The Residents had fun showing off their festive wheelchairs and walkers, and especially enjoyed opening their beautiful packages the following week at our Christmas party.
And for a final, lovely bit of Christmas cheer on the day of their visit, the group treated our employees to lunch, quietly leaving sandwiches and snacks in the breakroom on their way out, for all to enjoy.
Thank you, Archer’s Christmas Angels! You helped make this holiday special for all of us!
