A Life Well Lived

  • October 20, 2017

Sister Laetitia loved ice cream. She especially loved eating it while visiting with the Residents around the coffee shop.

So October 18, to mark the anniversary of her passing and to celebrate her life, her sister Janet Leach, sister-in-law Sue Harrison, and good friend Carol Regan decided to host an ice cream social to honor her memory.

Sr. Laetitia was a Little Sister of the Poor for 60 years. She spent the last 10 of them here at the Jeanne Jugan Center, so there were lots of folks who had stories to share of her time here. The underlying theme of them all was her sweetness and her devotion to the Residents.

Even when her health began to fail, she still had a smile for everyone she saw. We are grateful for Sister’s life, and how she touched so many lives over the years.
