Our Benefactors, where would we be without them! (St. Jeanne Jugan)

  • April 10, 2012

If you’ve ever visited our home and taken a stroll around our grounds, you’ll know why people rave about how beautiful the many flowering trees are in the spring. And thanks to our friends at Ryan Lawn & Tree, the Jeanne Jugan Center’s trees are looking great, and are ready for another year of providing enjoyment and inspiring awe in our Residents and visitors.
On a recent late winter day, like many years before, the home’s grounds were awakened from their cold sleep to be whipped into shape in amazing time. All 23 acres were a flurry of activity and sound. There were trimming machines, lifts, wood chippers and cheerful men and women in red shirts as far as the eye could see.  What a wonderful sight!
This maintenance is such an important part of keeping our grounds looking beautiful, and we are grateful to Ryan Lawn & Tree’s Founder, Larry Ryan, for his generosity in donating these services.
Seeing the Residents sitting outside enjoying nature’s beauty reminds us of how lucky we are to have such good friends!
