Little Sister Celebrates 60 Years
Sister Paul Mary of the Cross first took her Vows in 1959
June 10, 2019, marked a significant anniversary for Sister Paul Mary of the Cross. It marked her Diamond Jubilee, 60 years of service in caring for the elderly poor and following the footsteps of St. Jeanne Jugan. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Sr. Paul immigrated in 1960 and has lived and worked in several homes in the U.S.
Her Jubilee included her nieces visiting for the celebration – Mother Fedelma, also a Little Sister, visiting from The Little Sisters of the Poor in Agen, France; and Eithne Lee, visiting from Warwickshire, England. Sr. Paul Mary of the Cross renewed the vows of her profession in a special Mass and was honored at a party afterward.
