Take Up Your Cross
Lenten Almsgiving Cross Donation Project
During the season of Lent, fasting, prayer, and almsgiving practices commemorate the death and Resurrection of Christ. As a form of almsgiving, this year our Home is asking that when you visit us please take a small cross with a donation request from our display in the mall area, and return the items on your next visit. These small items can give a big smile to our Residents. Some are special treats, while others will fulfill ongoing needs, and help us provide a home that improves the quality of life for all of our elders throughout the year.
There are many worthy causes that you may want to contribute to, and we understand that not everyone is able to make a monetary or item donation. So the thing we need most is YOU! Please schedule a time to come visit our Residents, attend Mass or participate in an activity. Even just a few minutes makes a world of difference! You can contact our Volunteer Coordinator to arrange your visit and to get a copy of our events and activities calendar, click here.
May God bless and bring you the blessings of his loving presence this Lent.
