Kentucky Derby
The Kentucky Derby wasn’t just in Kentucky this year. We held our own version right here in Kansas City. The mall area came alive with racehorses (plastic blow-up ones), jockeys (staff, sisters, and residents), and plenty of spectators in wide-brimmed hats cheering their favorite horses to victory. It was loads of fun, and a great way to celebrate the family spirit of the Jeanne Jugan Center.
