We got a wonderful treat Easter weekend, once again witnessing God’s Providence and people’s generosity.
The lovely employees at St. Joseph Medical Center did a drive during Lent to collect items for our Residents. We were touched when we found out they chose our home to benefit from their collection, and looked forward to Easter Saturday when the items would be dropped off. Imagine our surprise and delight when the day came and 4 cars pulled in, filled with items! There was canned food, snacks, hygiene items, DVDs for movie nights, activity and coloring books…and the list goes on.
We are so grateful for these selfless people – both for thinking of us and our Residents, and also for their service as essential workers during this pandemic (and every day!) Our grateful prayers go with each one of them!
