Our 9th annual summer festival was quite a hit. On June 12th the Jeanne Jugan Center’s grounds were transformed into a flurry of festivity. Out came the big tents, clowns, and cotton candy; while lively music, children’s laughter, and the intoxicating aroma of bar-b-que filled the air. And luckily, there was no rain in the air this year! Our prayers to St. Joseph for a nice day were definitely answered.
Everyone enjoyed the food, games and entertainment very much. There were singers, dancers, and even dog tricks. It was a great chance for the Little Sisters and Residents to visit with friends and family. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make the day a success. We are lucky to have such good friends!
