New found Faith and Love of God in the “Year of Faith”

  • January 3, 2013

I moved into the Jeanne Jugan Center a little over a year ago and I am so “Thankful” that I did. I could not be any happier. This is the perfect place as far as I am concerned. I have my own small apartment, which I really love; it is so cozy and convenient.

The Sisters are so gracious and helpful. They make me feel right at home. It is peaceful and quiet here and the surroundings are beautiful.

A few weeks ago on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, I converted to Catholicism. I received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist from our Chaplain, Fr. John McCormack, during our morning Mass. He and other Residents instructed me in our beautiful Faith. I found my faith and love of God had increased so much since I moved here. I studied hard to make sure I was doing the right thing and now I am renewed in my faith and life.

I am so proud and thank my God for leading me into all that I have.
