“Each day you bear witness to God’s request that we respect all life. As you live your mission you bear witness to this important tenant, respect all life. Thank you for bearing witness to God’s hope that we respect all life. And importantly, I want you to know that I stand with you in your fight against the demands of the Affordable Care Act. I support you completely.”
This is how Bishop James V. Johnston, Bishop of the Diocese of Kansas City – St. Joseph began his homily in the Jeanne Jugan Chapel as we celebrated Mass with our benefactors and Residents on January 30. He also reminded us that if we live the Gospel, and truly love one another, our lives will be full. Of all the gifts that God gives to us – faith, hope and love – the greatest gift is love.
