What a View!

  • August 22, 2017

It’s not every day that our activities calendar reads, “Eclipse Watch,” but that’s what was on the agenda for Monday here at the Jeanne Jugan Center. It was a highly anticipated event, and it didn’t disappoint!

The morning thunderstorms had us wondering if we might not be able to see the eclipse after all, but luckily the rain stopped and the skies cleared just in time to see the moon start moving across the sun.

It was an amazing sight! Residents, employees and Little Sisters oohed and ahhed as they passed their special viewing goggles around so everyone could take a peek. What a great way to start the week!
